You can use security groups in addition to role security for more granular control over access to document types. For example, an organization could have six security levels that determine which documents users can access, and only Store Manager with Security Level IV or higher can access a specific document type.
There are two steps for using security groups on documents:
- Add security groups in Documents > Admin > Security Groups.
- Assign security groups to document types in Document Types > Admin > Document Types.
