Export Documents

You can use the document export functionality to download one or more documents in Document Explorer. You can download up to 1 GB of documents at a time. When you export documents, they are downloaded to your browser in a zip folder.

Role feature access: Documents > Document Explorer > Document Bulk Export

To export documents:

  1. Go to Documents > Document Explorer.
  2. Use the filters on the left side of the screen to view the files you need to export.
  3. Select the checkboxes next to the documents that you want to export. You can see the number and total size of the selected files above the list.
  4. Click Export.
  5. (Optional) Enter a name for the zip file.
  6. Click Download.

If you have access to download all of the selected files, your browser downloads them in a zip file. A notification at the bottom-right of the screen shows the progress of the download and lets you know when all items have been downloaded.

If you don’t have access to download one or more of the files you selected, when you click Export, the Document Export dialog box opens and shows you which files you can’t download. Click Next to continue downloading the ones that you have access to.
