You can configure the Dayforce Wallet banner, which lets eligible users in US pay groups register for a Dayforce Wallet Card without having to download the Dayforce Wallet mobile app, and encourages them to get their pay check deposited to their Dayforce Wallet Card:
Before You Begin: Banners are shown only for employees in US pay groups.
After it’s configured, the banner is shown at the top of the screen when eligible users log in to Dayforce, and it stays in view as they go to different features. Clicking X gives the user the option not to display the banner again or to display it after seven days.
If the user is eligible for a Dayforce Wallet Card, but not on-demand pay, the content of the banner does not mention on-demand pay and only mentions the ability for users to get their pay check deposited to their Dayforce Wallet Card.
When users who haven’t registered for a Dayforce Wallet Card click Learn More, Dayforce shows a dialog box where they can register for one. Their personal and contact information is automatically populated. If any information is missing, they need to close the dialog box and update their profile information. They can restart the process once their information is up to date.
Users can click Next to move through the registration process, which involves the following steps:
- Reviewing and accepting the terms of service for having a Dayforce Wallet Card.
- Either requesting a personalized card be mailed to them or entering the details of an instant issue card that was provided to them. Instant issue cards are available for US employees only. If they request a personalized card, they can select an existing address from their profile or enter a different address to ship to.
After users complete these steps, Dayforce shows one of the following confirmation screens, depending on their card status:
- If the employee entered details for an instant issue card, Dayforce shows that the card is active and lets them know that they can get their pay check deposited to it. A link to download the Dayforce Wallet mobile app is also included in the confirmation screen.
- If the employee requested a personalized card, in which case the card is not active yet, Dayforce shows that the card is on its way and provides an activation phone number. It also lets users know that they can get their pay check deposited to their Dayforce Wallet Card. A link to download the Dayforce Wallet mobile app is also included in the confirmation screen.

Note: The Dayforce Wallet banner is also displayed when users who already registered for Dayforce Wallet log in. When these users click Learn More, Dayforce shows a dialog box containing one of the two confirmation screens described above, depending on the status of their card.
