Configure Dayforce Wallet Card and On-Demand Pay Eligibility in the Employee Profile

Before You Begin: Ensure that your instance is correctly configured for Dayforce Wallet by completing the steps in Ensure That Client Properties Are Configured.

Depending on configuration, employees can make on-demand pay requests on the Dayforce Wallet mobile app, and also get their regular pay directly deposited to their Dayforce Wallet Card. For employees to do this, the options must be added to their employee profile in People.

The options Eligible for Dayforce Wallet and Eligible for On-Demand Pay can be found by going to People, selecting an employee to load their profile, clicking Employment > Employment Settings and clicking the Dayforce Wallet tab. To configure the employee to use On-Demand Pay, both of these options must be added. To configure employees to get their regular pay directly deposited to their Dayforce Wallet Card, but not to use on-demand pay, only set the Eligible for Dayforce Wallet option.

You can set these options manually, or they can be set using the HR Import. For details about the HR Import, see the Dayforce HR Import Specification.

To manually set these options for an employee:

  1. Go to People, open the employee profile, and click Employment > Employment Settings.
  2. In the Dayforce Wallet tab, select the Eligible for Dayforce Wallet and (if applicable) the Eligible for On-Demand Pay checkbox.
  3. Click Save.
