When an employee leaves the organization on maternity leave, you need to add their new employment status in Dayforce. This new employment status is then exported to Dayforce PeoplePay for payroll processing.
In Dayforce, you can manage an employee's employment status in the Employment > Employment Settings screen in People. To track and report maternity leave in the employee's record in People, make the following configurations in the Employment > Employment Settings screen:
- Add a leave of absence for the duration of the maternity leave.
- Add an expected return date to active employment for this employee.
When you've configured Dayforce, transfer the maternity leave data from Dayforce to PeoplePay using the PeoplePay Vietnam HR Export (Outbound) connector in Integration Studio.
