Employee Records in Dayforce Unified for Malaysia

Employee records in Dayforce Unified for Malaysia are managed using country-specific forms in Dayforce. Payroll administrators can also enter the information directly into the employee record in the People feature.

You can also configure Dayforce so that employees can submit HR forms through the Forms tab in their Profile. Dayforce Unified for Malaysia includes the following forms:

  • Confidential Information Change
  • Direct Deposit
  • Employment Details Change
  • New Hire
  • Personal Details Change
  • Tax and Statutory Details Change
  • Termination

When you update an employee's data, the changes are sent to Dayforce PeoplePay using the PeoplePay Malaysia HR Export (Outbound) connector in Integration Studio.

Employee Records in People

The People feature in Dayforce is where you access and manage employee records. Employee information submitted in the HR forms are saved in the employee record in People in the various Employment screens.

An employee's payroll elections are managed in the Payroll > Payroll Elections screen. You can add, delete, or update earnings and deductions for each employee.

An employee's personal identification information is managed in the Personal > Confidential Information screen.

An employee's bank information is managed in the Payroll > Direct Deposit screen. Bank information is sent to PeoplePay using the following connectors in Integration Studio:

  • PeoplePay Malaysia HR Export (Outbound). Your employees' bank account information is included in the data transferred by this connector.
  • When the employee has more than one bank account in Dayforce, only the account set up as the “remainder” bank account is included in the data. See Payroll Direct Deposit Information in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
  • PeoplePay Employee Direct Deposit (Outbound). The data transferred by this connector includes the direct deposit payments made to your employees and their bank account information.
  • When the employee has more than one bank account in Dayforce, all of the accounts are included in the data.
