Payslips and year-end tax forms or statements, such as CP8A, are generated in Dayforce PeoplePay and exported to Dayforce. Information about payslips and year-end forms are found in the following areas in Dayforce:
- Employees can access these documents in the employee self-service (ESS) feature in Dayforce. They can click Earnings in the navigation panel to view these documents online and print them for their own records.
- To give your employees access to Earnings, see Configure Role Access to Payroll Statements and Forms in ESS in the Payroll Administrator Guide.
- Payroll and HR administrators can view these documents in People in the Statements > Earning Statements and Statements > Year End Statements screens.
The document management feature that integrates Dayforce and PeoplePay is based on the POST Import Documents API. To configure Dayforce to import documents using this API, do the following steps:
- Configure the appropriate user role access. See Configure Admin User Roles for Dayforce Unified.
- Configure the document access. See Configure Document Access to Import Documents from PeoplePay.
- Configure the pay group access. See Assign Pay Group Admin Access in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
