Dayforce Unified for China Payroll Process

Processing payroll in Dayforce Unified for China follows this general workflow:

• Payroll information, such as approved timesheets, updates to employees records and payroll elections, are entered in Dayforce for that pay period. This data is sent to Dayforce PeoplePay.
• PeoplePay calculates the payroll and sends the payroll data back to Dayforce.
• In Dayforce, payroll administrators can access the processed pay runs and employees can access their payslips.

During the process of submitting your payroll to your PeoplePay, you must make sure that all of your payroll input is sent before or on the payroll input date on the payroll processing schedule. This input might include time-data approval and transmission, employee records, and employee-payroll-election updates. Any payroll data that you submit after the input date isn't included until the next pay period, unless an off-cycle pay run is agreed upon with PeoplePay.
