Updated registration requirements for SMS messaging in the United States. Twilio, the communications provider, now requires business registration information for all types of businesses except for sole proprietorships. This update ensures compliance with Twilio's latest toll-free verification policy. These additional requirements are enforced when you set up SMS messaging in System Admin > External Integrations. When you provide registration information, you now must include your business type, business registration number, business registration country, and business registration authority. If you select sole proprietorship as the business type, you aren’t required to provide the rest of the information. However, if you choose to provide the information, you must complete all three of the remaining fields. |
