This issue occurred because Dayforce treats an undefined end date as “end of time,” and it also prevents setting an earlier end date to avoid gaps between primary position assignments. Now, if the assignment has no end date, or in other words, it's set to “end of time,” the Effective End field is inactive. To end an employee’s primary interim assignment earlier, update their original position assignment (or future primary position assignment) to resume earlier. |
