Dayforce Release Notes version 2025.1.0, Patch 1

Version
R2025.1.0 Patch 1

GGIE-1161

Updated the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Report as follows:

  • Added the Gender Identity custom field.
  • Removed the following custom fields:
    • Non-Binary
    • Female
    • Male
    • Gender Not Specified

In addition, the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Report now uses the following process to determine which gender value to include for an employee:

  1. If any of the employee’s gender records include a binary value (i.e., male or female) in the Assigned Sex or Gender Identity fields, the report uses that value.
  2. If none of the employee’s gender records include a binary value, the report looks at the state or province record or at any non-US/non-Canadian federal record and, if there’s a non-binary value, “Non-Binary” is shown in the report.
  3. If there are no values in any of these records, “Gender Not Specified” is shown in the report.
  4. If there are multiple different values in non-federal records (like Female and Non-Binary), “Multiple Genders” is shown in the report.

GGIE-1225, GGIE-1226, GGIE-1227, GGIE-1228

Updated the following ad hoc reports to support Enhanced Employee Gender functionality:

  • Active Employee Headcount by Location and Gender
  • Employee Listing by Gender and Location
  • Turnover by Location
  • US EEO Pay Category Analysis

Specifically, each report now uses the following process to determine which gender value to include for an employee:

  1. If there is a value in the Assigned Sex field of the employee’s gender record, the report uses that value.
  2. If there is no value in the Assigned Sex field of the state-specific record, the report uses the value in the Assigned Sex field of the federal record.
  3. If there is no value in the Assigned Sex field of the federal or state-specific record, the report uses a value of “Undefined.”
