Interface labels for Delete Account now reflect the Improved Candidate Experience workflow. Warning and descriptive text was also updated to reflect this workflow.

  • In Profile > Account Settings of the Improved Candidate Experience, renamed Delete Account to Delete Your Data. Candidates can delete all their data but can't delete their account from your client site. If they delete their data, they lose access to their profile, job applications, saved jobs, saved searches, draft applications, scheduled interviews, and pending offers. However, they can still log in to your client site using their Dayforce account.
  • In Recruiting Setup > Client Properties, changed the text under the Delete Account Enabled client property to indicate that the property, when enabled, shows the Delete My Data button on client career sites. It also shows the Delete Application link in the footer of the client site and emails. Candidates who applied without an account can use this link to delete their application.
This updated text reflects the behavior for the Improved Candidate Experience. If you're still using the classic candidate experience, the client property still enables candidates to delete their account on your career site as before. The property will be renamed in a future release to match the behavior for the Improved Candidate Experience.

To delete their Dayforce account, candidates can select Delete Account from Profile > Account Settings > Manage Dayforce Account. When they delete their Dayforce account, they lose access to all job sites they signed up for that are powered by Dayforce. All of their data is removed from your site and all of the other sites. You can’t disable this Delete Account option.
