GPTCI-21507 Updated Dayforce to allow Canadian organizations to configure more than one legal entity record with the same business number. This feature is used to support a legal entity that has more than one employer health tax (EHT) or Revenu Quebec "RS" identification number. A new client property Allow duplicate BN (Canada Only - Restricted) is added to System Admin > Client Properties in the Properties tab. When this setting is selected, you can configure more than one Canadian legal entity record in Dayforce with the same business number. Each legal entity record must have their own unique name and different account IDs for employer health taxes or RS identification numbers. To ensure accurate reporting, the Dayforce Back Office must validate your instance when you turn on this feature. | |
GPTCI-52018 Added new validation to make sure Canadian legal entity records that share the same business number don't use the same reference number for their RP (payroll deductions) program account. A CRA program account number has three parts:
The four-digit reference number for RP is entered in the Reference Code column of the Employment Insurance tab in Org Setup > Org Payroll Setup > Legal Entity.
In the Employment Insurance tab, Dayforce now validates the numbers entered in the Reference Code column to make sure legal entity records with the same business number don't share reference numbers. |
