Version
R2024.1.1 Patch 7

HR-34560, HR-34561, HR-34571, HR-35764

Updated Dayforce to replace biometric residence permits (BRPs) with eVisas, per UK government requirements. Effective 1 January 2025, BRPs will no longer be issued by the UK government. Instead, people need to prove their right to work using eVisas. An eVisa is an online record of your immigration status.

To support this update, the following right to work documents were added to the Identification section of the Personal > Confidential Information screen in People and in the Right to Work Upload form, effective 1 January 2025:

  • eVisa with indefinite endorsements - Online right to work check
  • eVisa with time limited endorsements - Online right to work check

The following right to work documents are removed, effective 1 January 2025:

  • Biometric Residence Permit with time limited endorsements - Online Right to Work check
  • Biometric Residence Permit with indefinite endorsements - Online Right to Work check

Note: The Biometric Residence Card - Online Right to Work check option remains unchanged.

For more information about right to work functionality, see “Right to Work (UK)” in the HR Administration Guide.
