Updated the earning codes for Puerto Rico’s year-end tax Form 480.7C by mapping the codes to the appropriate distribution codes. The new 480.7C mapping ensures PR tax information is properly reported on the 2024 Form 480.7C (Box 23). Note: The PR tax Form 480.7C for Puerto Rico Retirement is the equivalent to the US Form 1099-R. With this release, the following earnings were mapped to the appropriate distribution code on Form 480.7C (Box 23):

Added a new earnings code for New York state’s non-taxable Health Care and Mental Hygiene Worker Bonus Program to accommodate the withholding taxability for New York, Yonkers, and New York City. For employees receiving a New York Health Bonus, the earnings code, Bonus NY Health, now shows as NYS HWB in Box 14 on their W-2. Federal income tax requires employee W-2 wages to include bonus information. |
