You must add Web Services feature access to the default role of the user account to use Dayforce Web Services. At a minimum, you must add the Web Services role feature, and the Read Data sub-feature under Web Services.
It's advisable to add the other role sub-features in the Web Services feature: Explorer, Notification Status, Notification Subscriptions, and PutWorkflowValidationAction, which is required for the role to perform actions such as reading and updating data.
To add the Web Services feature to a role:
- Go to System Admin > Roles.
- Select the default role associate with the user.
- Click the Features tab.
- Expand HCM Anywhere > Web Services.
- Select the checkboxes for Web Services and, at a minimum, Read Data.
- Click Save, and then click Refresh.
