Log in to the App

If your organization has enabled the Apps tab in Home > Profile within the main application, you can find your Company ID and user name, as well as links to download the app, in the Dayforce Mobile App section.

To log into the mobile app for the first time using the default login method:

1. On the Login screen, tap Log In.
2. Enter your Company ID and tap Continue to open the Dayforce Log In screen in your device's web browser.
3. Enter your user name or email address, and then enter your password.
4. Tap Log In.

After you add your account and log in for the first time, you can tap your user name on the Login screen to log in.

Set Up Multifactor Authentication (MFA)

If enabled, you can set up MFA on the Set Up Multifactor Authentication screen after you log in.

• Tap Smartphone App to use the Authy app for authentication.
  If you do not already have the Authy app on your device, you can follow the prompts to install it.
  
  
• Tap SMS Text Message or Voice Call to receive a text or call for authentication, and then enter your mobile number.
  To verify your identity, tap Text Message to receive a verification code via text, or tap Voice Call to receive the code through a call.
  Tap Continue.
  Once you receive the code, enter it on the Enter Verification Code screen and then tap Continue.
  Optionally, enter a secondary number and tap Continue, or tap Skip.
  After this initial verification, you can select whether you would like to receive a text or a call each time you log in.

Once you have set up MFA with your DayforceID, you can log in by tapping your account on the Login screen.

If enabled, the app prompts you to use Single Sign-On (SSO) when you enter your Company ID on the New Account screen.

When you tap your account to log in from the Login screen, the app redirects to your web browser so that you can log in using your organization's SSO credentials. Depending on how your organization has set up SSO, you might also need to authorize the login with your device's authentication app.

If you have entered the correct credentials but the login fails, check to make sure that you are connected to a cellular or wireless network.

You will be warned of your last available attempt to log in if you repeatedly type in your password incorrectly. If your last available login attempt fails, you are locked out of your account for a period of time determined by your organization.

To see the password that you are typing, tap the Show Password icon in the password field.

If your organization has enabled the Apps tab in Home > Profile, you can find your user name in the Dayforce Mobile App section. If you don't know your password, see your supervisor or manager.

You can set up or change the security questions that you need to answer if you forget your password. If you have not already set up your security questions, the app displays a prompt when you log in. Tap Setup to set up your security questions. If you tap Skip, you will be prompted again later.

Note: You need to know your current password before you can set up your security questions.

To set up or change your security questions:

1. In My Profile, tap Update Security Questions.
2. Enter your current password.
3. Answer the two security questions.
4. Note: You can change the current security questions by tapping the question to open the question option list. Tap to select a different question.
4. Tap Save.
5. Next time you tap Forgot Password on the Login screen, the app displays your security questions.

After you have added an account, you can add additional accounts from the Login screen by tapping Add New Account, or by opening the Context menu and tapping Manage Accounts.

You can edit any of your accounts by opening the Context menu on the Login screen and tapping Manage Accounts. Tap to open the account you want to edit and when you are finished editing, tap Save.

To delete an account, open the Context menu and tap Manage Accounts. Tap to open the account you want to delete, and then tap Delete.
