You can use biometrics (Face ID or Touch ID) to re-authenticate quickly in a session. With enabled biometrics, you can securely open the app without repeatedly entering your user name and password every time you’re prompted to re-authenticate.
Enabling biometrics is especially useful if you need to open the app multiple times throughout the day. It improves security while reducing the time and effort required to log in.
If biometrics aren’t enabled in the app, you need to manually log in with your user name and password, or use single sign-on (SSO), whenever the app is force-closed and relaunched.
Note: Biometrics doesn’t replace logging in to the app. You still need to enter your user name and password to log in. This feature helps you re-authenticate when your session expires.

You can disable biometrics at any time by going to Settings in the Profile menu and turning off the Touch/Face ID switch.
Set Up Biometrics for Existing Mobile App Users
