The Tasks feature allows you to view and update information for existing tasks that have been assigned to one or more locations, through your mobile device. Each task is displayed under the following completion status tabs: All, Not Started, In Process, Completed, and Not Completed. To navigate between tabs, swipe them left or right, and then tap the name of the tab you want to view.
Note: New tasks must be created in the main application.
Select a Location
If you manage multiple locations, you must select a location to view its associated tasks.
To select a location:
- Open the Context menu and then tap Choose Location.
- Tap the Search icon to open the location picker.
- Tap a location name, or begin typing a location name into the search bar. The app suggests locations as you type.
Date Range Picker
The date range picker is a control which allows you to specify a date range for the tasks you want to view. You can specify a range within one or months, and up to a year in the past. After you finish making your selection, the list of tasks reloads to reflect the new dates.
To view a list of tasks for a specific date or range of dates:
- Tap the displayed date on the toolbar to open the date range picker. The app displays the current month as a calendar.
- Do one of the following:
- Tap a start date and end date in the current month. Your specified dates are highlighted.
- Tap the Edit icon beside the date range to manually enter a new range.
- Tap the drop-down next to the month and year to select a different one.
- Tap the left and right arrows to move forward or backward one month at a time.
- Tap OK.
Update Tasks
To update task information, tap a task to view its details, and then adjust the percentage or move the slider to update its completion percentage.
You can also tap Notes to provide additional comments.
