You can approve or deny shift trades from the list of pending approvals, or from the shift trade's Offer Details screen. After you make your selection, the app loads and updates the card's status to reflect the action that was taken. Depending on your filter settings, the request may no longer be visible in the list. For example, if your filter specifies to view Pending and Cancellation Pending statuses only, a request will no longer be displayed in the list after it has been approved or denied.
Tap a shift offer card to view the following information on the Offer Details screen:
- Initiator's name
- Date and time of the shift
- Job and location
- Initiator's current hours for the scheduled period and hours in the offer is approved (shown only when an employee, not a manager, makes the offer)
- Initiator's comments
- Name of recipient
- Recipient's current hours for the scheduled period and hours in the offer is approved
- Your comments (optional)
Tap a shift swap card to view the following information on the Swap Details screen:
- Initiator's name
- Recipient's name
- Job and location
- Date and time of the shifts
- Initiator's current hours for the scheduled period and hours if the offer is approved
- Recipient's current hours for the scheduled period and hours if the offer is approved
- Initiator's comments
- Your comments (optional)
Approve or Deny Shift Trades
To approve or deny shift trades from the list of pending approvals:
- Scroll to the card that you want to take action on.
- Tap Approve or Deny on the card.
To approve or deny shift trades from the Details screen:
- Tap a card to view its Details screen.
- Optionally, tap the Your Comment field to add a comment.
- Tap Approve or Deny on the card.
