Respond to a Message for Your Case

If a case status is Waiting for Employee, you must respond to the message for that case for it to move forward in the process.

To respond to a message:

  1. On the HR Cases screen, open your desired case from the list of cases.
  2. Respond to the message accordingly, then tap Send Message.
  3. Note: If you leave the screen before tapping Send Message your response won't be saved.

The status changes to Waiting for HR.

Note: If push notifications are enabled on your device, the app notifies you when you have a message for your case. When you tap the notification, the app takes you to the case in HR Cases. Notification messages are sent to Message Center and email. If you don’t have the Dayforce mobile app installed, you are prompted to install the app when you tap the email notification link.
