Learning

You can track your courses, plans, and events in the Learning feature. You can also search for training that interests you, complete assigned courses, and review your learning history and certifications. This feature is only available for the new Dayforce Learning.

Tabs in the Learning screen:

• Dashboard: Shows your required training, upcoming events, and training that you've already started.
• Learning catalog: Shows all of the learning content that's currently available to you.
• Your learning: Shows all of your learning activity for courses, events, and learning plans.
• Certificates: Shows your certification history, including status and expiry dates.

Browse the Learning Catalog

All of the courses, events, and learning plans that your organization offers are available in the Learning Catalog tab. The categories configured by your administrators are listed at the top of the tab, and you can select one to view only the content in that category. Categories group content based on topic and might represent a particular theme. Whether you're looking at the content for all categories, or for a specific category, the Learning feature shows you several other filters that you can use to find content.

Filters in the Learning catalog:

• Filter by: Narrow results based on the content type: course, event, or learning plan.
• Topic: Shows content based on the assigned topic tab. You can select one or more topics as needed.
• Duration: For events, filters based on the event date.
• Status: Shows content based on status.

Take Courses

To start a course:

1. Tap Learning in the navigation menu.
2. In the Dashboard, Learning catalog, or Your learning tab, tap the course or learning plan that you want to begin.
3. In the course details, tap Start.

Sign Up for Events

To sign up for an event:

1. Tap Learning in the Navigation menu.
2. In the Dashboard, Learning catalog, or Your learning tab, tap the event that you want to sign up for
3. Do one of the following:
   • In the event details, tap Sign up, select a session, and then tap Confirm.
   • In the Available sessions section, tap a session to open its details, tap Sign up, and then Confirm.

Review Your Learning Activity

You can review all of the certifications that you've earned and that you were assigned in the Certificates tab of the Learning feature. The list includes the status and expiry dates of all of your certifications in one place.
