You can approve or deny availability request cards from the list of pending approvals, or from the Availability Request screen. After you make your selection, the app loads and updates the card's status to reflect the action that was taken. Depending on your filter settings, the request may no longer be visible in the list. For example, if your filter specifies to view Pending and Cancellation Pending statuses only, requests will no longer be displayed in the list after they are approved or denied.
Temporary availability change cards contain the following information:
- Initiator's name
- Date range of the availability change
- Request type
- Request due date
Default availability change cards contain the following information:
- Initiator's name
- Start date of the availability change
- Request type
- Request due date
Tap a pending approval card in the list to open the Availability Request screen, which contains the following information:
- Initiator's name
- Avatar or initials
- Request type (default change or temporary change)
- Start and end date of the availability request (starting date only for default change requests)
- Previous availability time and requested availability time by date of week
- Your comment section
Approve or Deny Availability
To approve or deny availability from the list of pending approvals:
- Scroll to the card that you want to take action on.
- Tap Approve or Deny on the card.
To approve or deny availability in the Availability Request screen:
- Tap a card to view the Availability Request screen.
- Optionally, tap the Your Comment field to add a comment.
- Tap Approve or Deny.
