Translate Courses Using AI

If your organization has the AI Features setting enabled, you can use the AI Course Translation tool to translate courses in the Admin > Learning > Courses screen in Dayforce Learning. Translating courses using AI can reduce the time it takes to create and manage multilanguage course content for your organization.

Access and configuration: In the Admin > Settings > Learning screen in Dayforce Learning, enable the AI Features setting.

You use the AI Course Translation tool by clicking the AI auto-translation option, which is shown when you add or edit languages for courses in the Admin > Learning > Courses screen. When you click the AI auto-translation option, the AI Course Translation tool begins translating the course content using the default language as the source.

Note: The AI Course Translation tool translates course information and page content, but doesn’t translate topics, skills, or images that include text.

You can track the progress of the translation in the Course settings dialog box. Then, when the translation is complete, you need to review the content for accuracy and publish the language to make it available to learners.

Important: Always review AI-generated content for accuracy, including AI-generated images.

To translate a course using AI:

  1. Go to Dayforce Learning and click the Admin tab.
  2. In the Learning section of the side panel, click Courses.
  3. Open an existing course or create a new one. 
  4. Click the Actions icon, which is next to the Assign button, and then click Settings.
  5. In the Languages section of the Settings dialog box, click Add new language, and then select the language that you want to translate the course to.
  6. In the Translation options dialog box, select AI auto-translation. The AI Course Translation tool begins translating the course.
  7. When the translation is ready, review the contents for accuracy.
  8. In the Settings dialog box, click the Actions icon for the language and select Publish language to make the translated version of the course available to learners.
