Review Certifications for the Organization

- New Dayforce Learning -

In the Admin tab of Dayforce Learning, you can see the full list of certifications for your organization, and track completion and certification history. To access the list, go to the Reports section of the side panel and click Courses, Learning plan, or Events. Then, click the see or edit certifications icon () to open the Certification reporting dialog box.

The Certification reporting dialog box list all of your organization’s certifications and shows the following:

  • Whether each certification is renewable.
  • The number of certifications that have been issued.
  • The completion rate for the associated course, event, or learning plan.

You can click a certification to see a list of employees who have been assigned to it. This list shows the following:

  • Each employee’s assignment or enrollment status for the associate course, event, or learning plan.
  • The expiry date for the certification.
  • The certification status. If the status shows “Uncertified,” it means that the employee hasn’t yet completed the associated course, event, or learning plan. If the status is “Certified,” it means that they have completed the learning activity and were issued a certificate.

To see the certification history for an employee in the list, hover the cursor over the row, click the action menu, and then select See history. The Certificate history dialog box opens, where you can see your current and past certificates and download a copy, if needed.

Upload Certificates

In the Certification reporting dialog box, you track certifications for Dayforce Learning content, but you can also upload and track certifications for training delivered outside of Dayforce. When you upload certifications, they’re added to the same list as the Dayforce Learning certifications, but they’re marked as external for your reference.

Important: Certificates that you upload in Dayforce Learning aren’t added to the employee’s learning profile and aren’t visible to managers and administrators outside of Dayforce Learning. If you need the certificate to be tracked in the employee’s profile, consider adding it in People instead. See Assign External Certifications to Employees.

To upload a certificate:

  1. Go to Dayforce Learning and click the Admin tab.
  2. In the Reports section of the side panel, click Courses, Learning plan, or Events.
  3. Click the see or edit certifications icon () to open the Certification reporting dialog box.
  4. Click Upload Certification.
  5. Upload the certificate file and enter the details for the certification, and then click Save.
