All of your organization’s learning content is created and managed in the Admin tab of Dayforce Learning. When you open the Admin tab, the side panel shows a Learning section, which list screens for creating and managing the following types of learning content:
- Courses: Packages of information and resources that learners can go through on their own, without an instructor.
- Events: Instructor-led sessions that learners complete either in person or virtually, depending on configuration.
- Learning plans: Packages of two or more related courses, events, or both, that learners can complete as a single unit. Assigning a learning plan to learners, rather than individual courses or events, can make it easier to assign content and track its completion.
Each of these screens shows a list of existing content. You can click an item to see the content in more detail. You can also hover over an item in the list and click the action menu to see several options, such as Duplicate, Edit, and Assign.

The Learning section of the side panel also shows the Categories & topics screen where you can create topics and categories for your learning content. Assigning topics and categories organizes your content and helps learners find materials that are relevant to their needs and interests. See Manage Categories and Topics.
