Enable Dayforce Learning in Dayforce

Dayforce Learning is enabled and configured in Site Setup > Eloomi Configuration. In this feature, you also make sure that the integration is working correctly between Dayforce and Eloomi, the learning management system (LMS).

Role feature access: Site Setup > Eloomi Configuration

Important: Only a user with a service role can complete this configuration. Service roles are set up in the Dayforce database, and are restricted to Dayforce support, services, and implementation personnel.

To enable and configure Dayforce Learning for customers who purchased the feature:

  1. Go to Site Setup > Eloomi Configuration.
  2. In the Settings tab, select the Enable Eloomi Learning checkbox. The In Use checkbox is then enabled and selected by default. If needed, you can clear the In use checkbox to remove Dayforce Learning access and pause the related background jobs and notifications.
  3. Configure the other fields in the Settings tab as needed, and then click Save.
  4. Options in the Settings tab
    Section Purpose
    Client Configuration Where you select the main region in which the customer operates.
    OAuth Settings Where you enter the secret, key ID, and platform ID for the customer’s Eloomi account. This information is then used to connect Eloomi with Dayforce.
    URL Configuration

    Where you can customize the Eloomi URL for the customer. When you select the Is Custom checkbox, LMS is added to the default Eloomi URL. The Offset field is also enabled, which you can use to include a number in the URL.

    System Status Where you can test the Eloomi instance for the customer.
  5. In the Background Job Configuration tab, configure the fields as needed.

    Synchronization Parameter(s)

    Where you can set the history offset value and the response page size.

    LMS Refresh Denormalized Tables Job Where you can define how often the LMS Refresh Denormalized Tables job runs.
  7. In the Alert tab, click the Enable ICS checkbox if you want to include an iCalendar file in notifications for Dayforce Learning event sessions.
  8. Click Save.
