Create Learning Groups

You might want to configure one or more learning groups for your organization. These learning groups can make it easier to assign learning materials and monitor progress for groups of employees in Dayforce Learning. For example, you might want to create a group specifically for employee in a sales role.

Learning groups are configured and managed in HR Admin > Groups and then used in Dayforce Learning. If you want to assign one or more users as learning managers for a group, you can do so from the Admin tab in Dayforce Learning. See Assign Learning Managers.

Important: Only groups with the Learning group type are shown in Dayforce Learning.

To create a learning group:

  1. Go to HR Admin > Groups.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter a name for the new group and select Learning in the Group Type drop-down list.
  4. (Optional) Enter a reference code and description for the group.
  5. Click Save.

After creating a group, you can assign group members either manually or using eligibility criteria. For more information about adding members and managing groups, see Group Setup in the Dayforce Implementation Guide.
