Create Events

- New Dayforce Learning -

You can create instructor-led learning events in the Admin tab of Dayforce Learning. For information about the accepted file types and sizes for learning content, see File Specifications for Learning Content.

To create an event:

  1. Go to Dayforce Learning and click the Admin tab.
  2. In the Learning section of the side panel, click Events.
  3. Click New.
  4. Add a title, description, and cover image for the event.
  5. Click New session to schedule a session for the event and then add a title, instructors, and a session schedule with either a physical location or a virtual meeting link. You can also set a maximum number of participants and specify whether users can sign up for the session or sign up for a waiting list.
  6. Click Add session to add the session to the event.
  7. If needed, you can hover the cursor over the session and then click Edit session to open the session details. You can then update the details and settings for the session, add training materials, enroll users and groups, and review and download the attendees list.
  8. Do the following, as needed:

When you assign instructors or learners to an event, they’re sent a notification that includes an ICS file (iCalendar file). They can download this file to add the session to their calendar.
