Configure Learning Rules for Continuing Professional Development

- New Dayforce Learning -

In Dayforce Learning, you can add rules to track continuing professional development (CPD) requirements for employees. This tracking can help make sure that employees are meeting the learning expectations set out by the organization.

For example, you could configure a rule that requires learners to complete 40 hours of CPD each year, starting on January 1st.

To add a learning rule:

  1. Go to Dayforce Learning and click the Admin tab.
  2. In the Learning section of the side panel, click Learning rules.
  3. Click New.
  4. In the Information section, enter a name and, optionally, a description for the rule.
  5. In the Rule setup section, do the following:
    • In the Learning goal subsection, select a measurement type and then enter a target to specify how many hours or units of learning are required.
    • In the Cadence & Timeframe subsection, specify how often learners need to complete the learning target and when the learning cycle should begin.
  6. Review the rule summary, and then click Create to save the rule.
