Build Courses Using AI

If your organization has the AI Features setting enabled, you can use the AI Course Creator tool to create and refine courses with text, images, and quizzes in the Admin > Learning > Courses screen in Dayforce Learning.

Access and configuration: In the Admin > Settings > Learning screen in Dayforce Learning, enable the AI Features setting.

You use the AI Course Creator tool by clicking the Build with AI option in the Admin > Learning > Courses screen. This option opens a wizard that uses a series of prompts and responses to create a new course using AI. The wizard gathers details such as learning goals, audience, subject matter, and language. The AI Course Creator tool then generates a course outline that you can review and refine before generating the full course.

When you’re building a course with AI, it’s important to be as specific as possible when entering prompts. Clearly express what you need from the course. You might want to include details such as who the course is for and which industry your learners work in. You can also include any existing content that you have, such as presentations or guides to base the course on.

After the course is created, it’s treated as a standard course in Dayforce Learning. You can add, delete, or edit individual pages, as needed. You can also configure the course settings, assign users, and report on course completion.

Important: Always review AI-generated content for accuracy, including AI-generated images.

To build a course using AI:

1. Go to Dayforce Learning and click the Admin tab.
2. In the Learning section of the side panel, click Courses.
3. Click New > Build course, and then click Build with AI.
4. Review the tips for getting started, and then click Start creating now.
5. Follow the instructions on each screen to submit details about the course that you’d like to create. The AI Course Creator tool supports multiple languages, so you can enter prompts in your preferred language.
6. Submit your responses when you’re done, and the AI Course Creator tool creates a course outline. The outline includes a summary of each page that will be created for the course.
7. Review the outline and make any necessary changes, such as removing pages or adding topics, by entering your instructions in the sidebar.
8. When you’re happy with the outline, click Build course at the top of the screen. The AI Course Creator tool creates the course, including all of the content, images, quizzes, and interactive elements. This process might take some time, especially if the course includes images. 
9. When the course is ready, review all of the content closely (including graphics) to ensure accuracy, and update the content as needed.
