Assign Learning Content to Your Team

As a manager, you can browse the learning catalog and assign content to your team from the Teams & People tab in Dayforce Learning or in the employee’s profile in People.

Assign Content in Dayforce Learning

To assign learning to your team in Dayforce Learning:

  1. Go to Dayforce Learning and click the Teams & People tab.
  2. In the side panel, click the name of a group or click the overview screen for your direct reports, and then click Assign learning.
  3. Browse the learning catalog and select the courses and events that you want to assign.
  4. Click Assign new users.
  5. Select the users or groups that you want to assign, and then click Next.
  6. Configure the assignment settings as needed, and then click Next. The following settings might be shown:
    • Required: Lets you mark the content as required for learners.
    • Scheduled Assignment: Lets you schedule the content to be assigned to learners on a future date.
    • Deadline: Lets you set a deadline for learners to complete the content.
  7. Review the assignment details and then click Confirm.

Assign Content in People

You can review and manage your employees’ learning from the Learning screen in People. Courses and learning plans that are assigned in Dayforce Learning are read-only and are shown here only for your reference.

To enroll an employee in a course or learning plan:

  1. Go to People, open the employee’s profile, and then click Learning.
  2. Click the Courses or Learning Plans tab, and then click Enroll.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • For courses, select an option in the Name drop-down list and, if applicable, select an event session. For external courses, select a start date and status, and complete the other fields. Then, click OK.
    • For learning plans, select an option in the Name column.
  4. Click Save.
