Assign Continuing Professional Development Credits to Learning Content

In the Admin tab of Dayforce Learning, you can configure courses and events to issue continuing professional development (CPD) credit automatically to learners who complete the activity. Issuing credit automatically ensures that the activity is tracked consistently and accurately, without any manual effort on the learner or manager’s part.

You can’t configure learning plans to issue credit, but you can configure the individual courses and events in the learning plan to do so.

To configure courses and events to issue CPD credit:

  1. Go to Dayforce Learning and click the Admin tab.
  2. In the Learning section of the side panel, click Courses or Events, depending on the learning content you want to issue credit for.
  3. Click the course or event to open its details, and then, in the action menu (next to the Assign button), click Settings.
  4. In the Settings dialog box, click the Issue credits after completion switch.
  5. Select whether you want to issue credits as hours or units and then enter the number of credits that should be issued.
  6. Click Save changes.
