You can add skills to new or existing learning content in the Admin tab of Dayforce Learning. Adding skills can help learners find relevant content in the learning catalog and can help improve the recommendations provided to them in the Dashboard tab of Dayforce Learning.
When you click Add skills, Dayforce Learning looks for suggestions based on the course or learning plan details. You can add all or some of the suggested skills, or search for and add any other skills, as needed.
You can also choose to automatically add skills based on the course or learning plan details when importing content from the content store. See Import Courses and Learning Plans from the Content Store.
To add skills to learning content:
- Go to Dayforce Learning and click the Admin tab.
- In the Learning section of the side panel, click Courses or Learning Plans.
- Find or create the learning content that you want to add skills to. For more information about creating learning content, see Manage Learning Content.
- Click Add skills, and then select one or more of the available skills.
- Click Confirm.
