In the United States, 1099 forms are a set of tax forms that document payments made by an individual or business that isn't typically your employer.
For example, Form 1099-MISC is used to report rents, royalties, prizes and awards and other fixed determinable income. Other examples include Form 1099-NEC for nonemployee compensation such as income earned as an independent contractor, freelancer, or self-employed individual, and Form 1099-G for state or local tax refunds received during the previous year.
In Dayforce, you can find your 1099 forms in Earnings > Year End Forms.
