Organizational Measures Reports

The following organizational measures reports are available as system reports in Data & Analytics > Reporting > Reports:

  • Organizational Measures Annually
  • Organizational Measures Monthly
  • Organizational Measures Quarterly

Each of these reports has a dataset that contains all of the organizational measures that are available in Dayforce. Each report returns annual, quarterly, or monthly data for each measure; they are identical except for the time period. You can find more information about each report in the Ad Hoc Reporting Guide.

Each report has an associated visualization with four pages: Organizational Scorecard, HR, Payroll/WFM, and Recruiting. Each of these pages has a similar layout, with controls at the top, key figures on the left side, and data visualizations in the main portion of the screen. The system visualizations are read-only, but you can make a copy and edit the copy if you want to make changes.

You can filter the data displayed on each page using the controls at the top of the screen. Depending on whether you are in the monthly, quarterly, or annual report, you might see Year, Quarter, and Month drop-down lists. Months are expressed as numbers. For example, 1 stands for January and 2 stands for February. You can make multiple selections in each drop-down list. For example, you could select 2019 and 2020 for Year, and then select 1 and 2 for Month. In this example, you would see data from January and February 2019 and January and February 2020. The settings that you select on one page persist when you move to other pages.

The figures in the visualization are averages of all of the data. For the monthly report, the number is an average of the data from all months. For example, if you filter for month 10 and 11, it will show the average of October and November from all of the years that have data. To get an average of multiple months in a specific year, you have to also make a selection in the year drop-down.

The following sections contain more information about each page. The screenshots show data from the monthly reports, but the quarterly and annual reports look similar with data for different time periods.

Organizational Scorecard

The Organizational Scorecard provides information in the following broad categories:

  • Workforce Availability: Information about the total resource pool available, including full-time equivalents, headcount, and any external workforce who have a direct influence on the earnings and outcomes of your organization. This information is important for both internal and external stakeholders because it provides information about the composition and availability of the whole workforce and the variety of employment statuses.
  • Recruitment, mobility, and turnover: These areas show the ability to maintain or support an activity or process and adequate workforce over the long term. This can show the health of an organization. These areas focus on the whole process of maintaining a sustainable workforce, from recruiting (“in”) to mobility within the organization (“through”) to turnover (“out”).
