Delete Reports

Before You Begin: System reports can't be deleted. Administrators can remove access to system reports by using the associated role features in System Admin > Roles.

Custom reports can be deleted from the Ad Hoc Reports tab in Data & Analytics > Reporting & Analytics, and all users who have access to the report designer can delete custom reports that they created themselves.

Administrators can allow users with certain user roles to also delete reports created by others by selecting the Data & Analytics > Reporting > Report Designer > Delete any Report checkbox in the Features tab of System Admin > Roles. If users don't have this role feature enabled, the Delete button is not enabled in the report designer when they are viewing a report created by someone else.

Important: When you delete a report with an associated visualization, the visualization is also deleted. In addition, if you shared the report with other users, the associated visualization is also deleted for those users.

To create delete a report:

  1. Go to Data & Analytics > Reporting & Analytics.
  2. Click the Ad Hoc Reports tab.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Delete button in the toolstrip in Data & Analytics > Reporting > Reports.
    • Click Edit or Preview to open the report in the report designer and then click Delete.
  4. Click OK.
