Employee Terminations

• If the employee must be paid immediately
• If accruals or other calculations are involved
• If your organization uses a termination-simulation process

Create the termination record in Dayforce by using the country-specific termination form. See Complete an Employee Termination in Dayforce. Upload any physical documentation in Dayforce Document Management that your ICP might require.	Create a termination record in your HR system of record. Ensure that the employee has the correct employee status. Import employee records in Dayforce. Verify and update the employee records in Dayforce.

Following the regular HR export, or a report if you are using an API to connect to your ICP, the termination record is created in the system of the ICP. The ICP completes payments, per the policy and situation of your organization, including any country-specific payouts. The ICP then completes de-registrations, per the legislative requirements of the country.
