ConnectedPay Pay Group Properties

ConnectedPay pay groups have unique properties that differentiate them from other pay groups. ConnectedPay pay groups have the following properties in Pay Setup > Pay Group in the Payroll Properties tab:

  • In the Net Pay Setup section, the Do Not Disburse Or Print Back to Office checkbox is selected.
  • In the Settings for ConnectedPay section, the implementation team configures the following options:
    • Select the ConnectedPay Enabled checkbox.
    • Select the document types from the dropdown list that you would like to view in Payroll > Archived Reports after they have been uploaded to Document Explorer.
    • Select the Allow Future Dated Import checkbox so that your pay group can import future-dated pay runs.
    • Select the Enable GPRI alerts checkbox so that email recipients receive notifications when a pay run is imported and if the imported pay run is approved, rejected, or under review. The email notification contains the customer (client) ID, customer (client) name, pay-group name, pay-group description, pay-group reference code, pay period, pay-period suffix, pay-period start and end dates, and pay date.
    • In the Email Addresses for GPRI alerts - Use a comma to separate each one field, enter one or more email addresses of recipients to receive notifications when a pay run is imported and if the imported pay run is approved or rejected.
    • Enable GPRI Event alerts: Sends a notification by API to your payroll partner when you import the GPRI file, or when you approve or reject the pay run details in Payroll.
    • Select the Enable Email Alert for Document Manager Import checkbox so that specified recipients receive an email when documents in Document Management are queued, loaded, or failed.
    • In the Email Addresses for Document Manager Import - Use a comma to separate each one field, enter one or more email addresses of recipients to receive notifications when documents in Document Management are queued, loaded, or failed.
    • In the Enable Alert for Quick Entry Delete field, select an option from the drop-down list to notify your payroll partner through email or event when you unlock a pay run and delete existing quick entries. The notification contains the list of reference codes of the deleted entries, customer (client) name, user name, timestamp, and pay run information such as pay period number (PPN) and pay group details.
    • In the Email Addresses for Quick Entry Delete – Use a comma to separate each one field, enter one or more email addresses of recipients to receive notifications when you unlock a pay run and delete existing quick entries.
    • In the Payroll Key field, enter the string values to provide instructions to set specific field outputs with Dayforce Link exports. The implementation consultant adds the payroll key during implementation to transmit the HR and employee-payroll-elections file to the payroll partner. This option is only available if you use Dayforce Link to export employee data to the payroll partner. If you use the API to export employee data to the payroll partner, leave this field blank.
    • In the Payroll Partner field, select an option from the drop-down list. This field helps configure Dayforce in accordance with your payroll partner's requirements. If there are two options for your payroll partner: <Payroll Partner> - Employee Properties and <Payroll Partner> Global Properties, ask your implementation consultant which one to select.
    • Select the Including Saturday & Sunday pay dates checkbox so that employees can be paid on weekends.
    • (Optional) The Automatically Approve Off-Cycle Types drop-down list marks specific off-cycle types that don’t require review in Dayforce and to be automatically marked as approved, after the Global Pay Run Import (GPRI) is loaded. You can choose one or both of the following options: Adjustment and Advance.
    • (Optional) Set the Display ICP Pay Slips As Of field to a date when the payroll partner (in-country partner or ICP) is supplying locally compliant earning statements. Starting on the selected date, the application suppresses the displaying of HTML earning statements that Dayforce generates so that only the earning statements that payroll partners upload to Dayforce are available in Self-Service and in an employee's profile in the Statements > Earning Statements screen in People. If you select a date, earning statements that the payroll partner imports that are stored in Document Management are available for pay runs with pay dates on or after the date that you specify in this field. By default, this field is empty, and if you leave it empty, Dayforce continues to display HTML earning statements.
