In Compensation Setup > Compensation Cycles, in the Worksheet Setup tab, you can configure compensation worksheets to suppress warnings in the Problems panel when a new salary falls outside the job assignment salary range.
The Disable warnings when the new salary is outside the job assignment’s salary range checkbox is available only when the Salary Increase pay component is selected for the cycle. This checkbox is selected by default and you cannot change this setting after the compensation cycle is published.
If you select this checkbox and don’t select the Restrict Out of Grade checkbox in Org Setup > Jobs and Job Assignments, in the Pay Grades tab, Dayforce:
- Doesn’t show warning messages when new salaries fall outside the job assignment’s salary range.
- Lets you submit or approve worksheets without entering justifications for salary range warnings.
