The Printed Centralized Schedules Report in Centralized Schedules is a printable version of your organization's schedule. When you run the report, Dayforce delivers it to your Message Center inbox. From there, you can configure the report's settings and preview the report before you print or save it.
When you load the Printed Centralized Schedules Report in Centralized Schedules, you can use several filters to narrow down the employees that the report includes:
- Date
- Selected Week: Shows the week loaded in Centralized Schedules, by default.
- Date Range: Shows the date range configured in the report's default settings.
- Employee
- Skill
- Activity
- Pay Class
- Job
- Department
- Project
- Docket
- Labor Metric Code
- Note: If you don't select any options, the report includes all of the selected location’s employees.
The details that the Printed Centralized Schedules Report shows and how it's grouped and ordered depend on how you configure the report's settings in Message Center.
Setting | Description |

Show Hour Scheduled Per Day | Show the number of hours that each employee is scheduled to work. This includes only worked time, not meals or breaks. |
Show hours in HH:MM | Show times as hours and minutes rather than decimal values. |
Show Seniority Date | Include employee seniority dates in the report. |
Use Custom Sort Order | Use your custom sort order when sorting employees in the report. |
Hide Table Information In Print | Hide table information when you print the report. |
Display Meals and Breaks | Show meals and breaks on the report. |
Display shift start/end times for non-primary jobs | Show the scheduled times of secondary jobs on the report. For example, an employee is scheduled to work their primary job from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and their secondary job from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Select this checkbox and the report includes the secondary job's start and end times. |
Show Shift Definition Name | Show shift definition names from shift rotations on the report. |
Print large format | Generate the report at 11.69 x 16.53 inches. If you generate the report in this format, you can print on 11" x 17" or A3 paper. If you leave the checkbox cleared, you can print on letter or A4 paper. |
Show Posting Date and Time | Show the date and time that the schedule was posted. |
Display Meal/Break as Duration | Show the duration of meals and breaks instead of their start and end times. Dayforce enables this setting only when you select the Display Meals and Breaks checkbox. |
Display DRAFT when Schedule not posted |
Note: This setting is enabled only if Dayforce is configured to use it. For more information, or if it's not enabled, contact your system administrator. Show a draft watermark on the report until the schedule is posted. This setting works with the Publishes Scheduled client property in System Admin > Client Properties. When Publishes Scheduled is enabled, the Display DRAFT when Schedule not posted checkbox is selected by default and the draft watermark is shown globally. You can still hide the watermark on the report by clearing the checkbox. When Publishes Scheduled isn't enabled, the Display DRAFT when Schedule not posted checkbox is cleared by default, and isn't enabled. Show Unfilled Shifts | Include unfilled shifts on the report. |
Auto-Hide Sundays with no Schedules | Show Sundays only if there are scheduled shifts. When cleared, the report shows all Sundays, regardless of whether there are scheduled shifts. |
Show Skill Names | Show employees' skills on the report. This setting is a part of the skill display functionality. See “Configure Skill Display” in the Dayforce Implementation Guide. |
Show Manager Comments | Show comments that managers entered when they created the schedule. |
Show Free Day | Show free days (that is, days that don't contain a shift or time away). |
Show Day Before Period | Show the day preceding the current calendar week. |
Include Page Break | Add a page break between schedules on the report. |
Highlight Holidays on Schedule | Highlight holidays on the report. |
Show Employee's Phone Number |
Show employee phone numbers on the report. If an employee has multiple phone numbers, the report uses the following priority order to show the phone number:

Show Day After Period | Show the day that comes after the current week. |
Omit Borrowed Employees | Don't show borrowed employees on the report. |
Highlight Shifts Over Midnight | Highlight shifts that cross midnight. |
Omit Unscheduled Employees | Hide unscheduled employees. |
Display Only Managers | Show only managers’ scheduled shifts. |
Omit Loaned Employees | Don't show employees who are on loan to another location. |
Show Segment Details | Show segment details on the report. This checkbox is selected by default. |
Show Additional Details for Segments |
Select the additional segment details that you want to show on the report:

Show Jobs and Departments | Drop-down list that controls how the report shows jobs and departments. |
Display Weekly Scheduled Hours | Show employees' weekly scheduled hours. |
Display Location Totals | Show the location's total hours. |
Display Contract Hours | Show employees' contract hours. |
Display Normal Weekly Hours | Show employees' normal weekly hours. |
Include Scheduled Absences Hours | Show hours for scheduled absences. |
Display Planned Hours |
Show planned hours. Whether the report shows planned hours for departments, employees, jobs, or zones is based on your selection in the Group By drop-down list. Depending on your selection, Dayforce adds one of the following columns to the report:

Display Planned Hours (Total) | Show total planned hours. When selected, Dayforce adds the Planned Hours (Total) column to the report. |
Display Difference | Show the difference between contract hours and scheduled hours. When selected, Dayforce adds the Difference column to the report. |
Display Totals |
Show total planned hours. Whether the report shows total planned hours for departments, employees, jobs, or zones is based on your selection in the Group By drop-down list. Depending on your selection, Dayforce adds one of the following rows to the report:

Sort By/Then sort by/Then sort by | Drop-down list that controls how the report orders employees. You can select up to three options. For example, you could order the employees first by Pay Class, then Job Rank, so that all full-time employees are printed above part-time employees and within those groups, employees are ordered by job rank. Dayforce doesn't show these drop-down lists if you select the Use Custom Sort Order checkbox. |
Group By | Drop-down list that controls how the report groups records. |
KPI | Select up to five KPIs to show on the report. Dayforce enables this drop-down list only when you select Zone in the Group By drop-down list. |
Name Display Format | Drop-down list that controls how the report shows employee names. |
