The Manager Coverage Report in Centralized Schedules shows details on a location's coverage (that is, the number of scheduled employees each hour and scheduled meals or breaks). By default, Dayforce groups the report by zone, but you can also group by department or job.
Shifts that start or end outside of the report’s time range contain arrows that indicate the direction of the beginning or end of the shift.

Select an option to define the time period that you want to report on:
When you run the report for multiple days, the report shows each day separately, with a page break between days. |
Time | Select the start time for the time range that you want to report on. The report covers a 19-hour time range, and Dayforce populates the end time automatically based on the start time that you select. |
Display DRAFT when Schedule not posted | Select this checkbox to show a draft watermark on the report until you post the schedule. |
Display Activity/Task Times | Select this checkbox to show the times associated with activities and tasks. Dayforce enables this checkbox only if you select an activity in the Filters section. The report doesn’t show end times for consecutive activities/tasks. Instead, the report shows the start time of the next activity/task at the end of the current one. |
Show Totals | Select this checkbox to show totals at the end of the report. |
Show Employee's Phone Number | Select this checkbox to show employees’ phone numbers on the report. You can show either phone numbers or location type. If you select this checkbox, Dayforce grays out the Display Location Type checkbox. |
Display Shift Comments | Select this checkbox to show comments associated with shifts. |
Display Job Assignment Names | Select this checkbox to show each employee's job assignment name as recorded in Org Setup > Jobs and Job Assignments. |
Display Meals and Breaks | Select this checkbox to show meals and breaks in the bar portion of the report. |
Include Blank Area | Select this checkbox to include a blank row between employees so that you can write comments on the hard copy of the report. |
Use Custom Sort Order | Select this checkbox to sort employees according to the configured custom sort order. Dayforce enables this checkbox only if you enable the Enabled Customized Employee Sort Order client property. |
Display Meal/Break Times | Select this checkbox to show meal and break times in an additional column. |
Show Unfilled Shifts | Select this checkbox to include unfilled shifts. |
Display Location Type | Select this checkbox to show each shift's location type on the report. |
Manager | Select a manager to include that manager’s employees on the report. |
KPI (Max 5) | Select up to five KPIs to show on the report. When selected, the report shows KPIs at the top of each day. Before you generate the report, Dayforce updates KPI data based on schedule data to ensure that the report includes the latest KPI calculations. |
Activity | Select one or more activities to report on. When you select an activity, the report shows it in a separate row below the shift. |
Name Display Format | Select an option to determine how the report shows employee names. |
Sort By | Select an option to specify how the report sorts records. This option isn't visible if you select the Use Custom Sort Order checkbox. |
Group By | Specify whether to group the report by zone, department, or job. |
Description | (Optional) Enter a report description. Dayforce shows the description next to the filename in Message Center. |
Format | Select the report format (Excel or PDF). |
