Daily Coverage Report

The Daily Coverage Report in Centralized Schedules shows details on a location's coverage (that is, the number of scheduled employees each hour and scheduled meals or breaks).

Dayforce groups the report by zone and sorts employees in each zone by start time, then by name. The report shows shifts with gray shading or with the activity name if the employee is scheduled an activity. The report shows meals and breaks with an X and slightly darker shading than the rest of the shift:

Setting Description
Date

The time period that you want to report on:

  • Day
  • Selected Week
  • Date Range

When you run the report for multiple days, the report shows each day separately, with a page break between days.

Time The start and end times for the time range that you want to report on.
Show Unfilled Shifts Include unfilled shifts.
Sort by Zone Sort the report by zone sort index. Clear the checkbox and the report sorts zones alphabetically. You can configure zone sort indexes in Org Setup > Organization, in the Zone tab, using the Sort Index field.
Show Employee Details Include employees’ phone numbers.
Show 15 Minute Grid

Show grid lines for each 15-minute segment:

Show Zone Totals Show (per hour and per day) the total head count, total scheduled head count, and the variance between the two. Dayforce shows this information at the end of each day on the report.
Show Net Hours Scheduled Show the total work hours for each shift and zone, as well as the total head count per zone, per hours. These totals include only worked time (that is, the report excludes non-worked time such as breaks and meals).
Manager Report on the selected manager’s employees.
Activity, Job, Department The activities, departments, or jobs to report on.
Name Display Format How the report shows employee names.
Description (Optional) The report description. Dayforce shows the description next to the filename in Message Center.
Format The format for the report file. You can generate the report in PDF or Excel format.

Note: The report shows sales statistics only for user roles that have the proper feature assigned to them in System Admin > Roles.
