After you configure operational templates in Dayforce, you can load the templates in Centralized Schedules to schedule employees across multiple locations.
Depending on your operational templates, you can also use additional grouping (that is, filter) criteria, such as department, project, and labor metrics, to load and schedule employees with specific work details across multiple locations.
Centralized Schedules is similar to the existing Grid View in Schedules, but with the added ability to load multiple locations at once with a one, two, or four week duration. You can expand and collapse each location to view the scheduling details:
You can perform a variety of scheduling tasks, such as adding shifts and changing their start or end times. When you view schedules for each location, you can see the scheduled hours so that you know if you're under- or overstaffed at any point during the week.
Dayforce also checks your schedules and alerts you about any problems, such as overlapping shifts or scheduling employees when they're unavailable.
