Add Shifts with Multi-Select

In Centralized Schedules, you can use the multi-select functionality to add multiple shifts at once for one employee or several employees.

Multi-select options
Method How to do it
Drag the cursor
  1. Hover the cursor over the first cell that you want to add a shift to.
  2. Click and hold the mouse and then drag the cursor over the cells that you want to add shifts to.
  3. Click the add icon:
  4. Selected cells on the schedule and the cursor hovering over the add icon.
  5. Configure the shift details.
Select individual cells
  1. Click the first cell that you want to a shift to.
  2. Press and hold the Ctrl key and then click the cells that you want to add shifts to.
  3. Click the add icon:
  4. Single cells selected for several employees and the cursor hovering over the add icon.
  5. Configure the shift details.
Select a range of cells
  1. Click the first cell that you want to add a shift to.
  2. Press and hold the Shift key and then click a second cell to make up the range.
  3. Click the add icon:

  5. Configure the shift details.

For example, to create the range that appears in the screenshot above, click the cell on Tuesday, October 17 for Annabelle Bulow. Then, press and hold the Shift key and click the cell on Thursday, October 19 for Carmella Nale. Dayforce selects all of the cells from October 17 to October 19 for Annabelle, Ashalintubbi, Benita, and Carmella.
