Add Operational Templates

In Schedule Setup > Operational Templates, in the Details tab, you can configure the groupings for your operational templates. You can also define the maximum number of locations that Dayforce can load when using the operational templates in Centralized Schedules.

The grouping type can be project, labor metric, department, or docket. If you select Project or Labor Metric, you must select an option in the Entity drop-down list to specify the project or labor metric type that you want to group your schedules by. When you load Centralized Schedules using the grouping, you can choose from the project or labor metric codes associated with the type that you selected. You can also select colors for groupings to make them easier to see.

In the Permissions tab, you configure role access for your operational templates. Specify roles or users so that they can use the specific operational template when they load schedules.
