The Career Explorer feature gives employees the tools they need to explore new opportunities and growth opportunities within an organization. It also helps them develop the skills that they need for current and future roles.
Before You Begin: The Career Explorer functionality is only available to customers who have purchased the Career Explorer add-on for Dayforce. Please contact your Dayforce representative if you'd like to purchase and add this feature to your Talent Management package.
Note: This service uses the ESCO classification of the European Commission.
Using Career Explorer, employees can create career development plans based on career recommendations or skills, and then add activities and track their progress as they work towards their goals. Career plans created in Career Explorer are also visible for the employee's managers in the Development Plans feature. This provides managers with the opportunity to encourage and advise their employees on meeting their goals.
Employees can access Career Explorer from the desktop version of Dayforce or from the Dayforce Mobile app. This guide describes the desktop version of the feature, but the Mobile app version provides a similar experience.
