In the Career Explorer feature, you can build career development plans based on the skills required for specific positions within your organization.
Before You Begin: If it's your first time using Career Explorer, you'll have to confirm your career profile and add skills before building a career plan. See Get Started with Career Explorer.
To build a development plan for a new or growth opportunity:
- Go to Careers > Career Explorer.
- In the What do you want to explore? section, do one of the following:
- Click Advancement opportunities or Career change opportunities, and then find a position that you want to create a plan for. See Explore Career Opportunities.
- Click Previously viewed opportunities, and then find the saved position that you want to create a plan for. See Your Previously Viewed Opportunities.
- Click Build plan.
- Enter the plan details. See Career Plan Details.
- Click Save.
After adding the plan, you can add activities to help track and advance the plan's progress.
