The Career Explorer feature uses background jobs to do the following:
- Sync career profiles to the skills engine
- Sync job assignments to the skills engine
- Refresh job assignment skill recommendations
- Sync employee hierarchy to the skills engine
- Check for newly added skills and updated proficiency levels for skills
These background jobs are site-level background jobs, which means that they aren’t visible in Dayforce and no action is needed to run or maintain them.
