The Time Clock widget shows clock entry information and provides users with the ability to submit clock entries:

Date and time of last clock entry | Bottom right | If the last clock entry was performed on the same day, Dayforce marks the date as “Today” instead of the clock entry date. |

A context-sensitive option to submit clock entries. If the user hasn’t submitted a clock entry to start their shift, the widget contains the Start Shift option. After the employee starts their shift, this option might change to End Shift or Start Meal to reflect the next clock entry option that’s available after they’ve started working. The following clock entry options can appear:

Redirects the user to Work > Time Clock which, depending on configuration, might contain more clock entry options. The clock entry options available in Work > Time Clock depend on your time entry policy configuration in Pay Setup > Time Entry Policy in the Time Capture tab. After an employee submits a clock entry, the widget shows a validation message to indicate whether the clock entry was accepted or rejected. If a clock entry is rejected, the message indicates the reason for the rejection, such as no scheduled shift found or an invalid location.
